Selling $88 USD From Paypal Premier Account Exchange To RM316.80 MYR Maybank In Malaysia Experience
During the night, a leng lui (beautiful girl) personal messaged me asked whether want to sell my remaining Paypal's USD currency that I had posted few day ago as below.
Well, the only thing that I concern about transferring Paypal (PP) balance in USD is the 3++% transaction fee / administration fee charged for every transaction you do. The girl told me that there is no charges for her transaction last time but I know there is charges recently when I received some earning through PP for writing international product review recently. Anyways, I just sold $88 USD for RM3.60 per USD instead of the RM3.69 exchange rate from XE currency converter website as below.
Upon received RM316.80 (RM3.60 x $88) in my Maybank account, I just transfer the money to the girl's PP account as below.
She told me that she had been charged $3.73 transaction fee and the final amount she received is just $84.32 in her PP balance although both of us is Paypal Premier account holder. For now, I just left about $17.57 USD left in my account to be sold.
Somehow I just feel that it is quite "ridiculous" that Paypal charged so high transaction fee as below.
I had been searching on "How to Avoid PayPal Fees" but the information I got is just back in few year ago where you're able to select "Gift" option to avoid any fee being charged as below.
Anyways, the new policy stated that any International transfers will incur a transaction fee no matter you use what method. If you have found any ways to avoid Paypal transaction fee, kindly tell me in the comment below.
Thanks.
