Chinese New Year is also known as the "Spring Festival" (春节) which is the most important festival that is celebrated by Chinese from all around the world. The first day of the Chinese New Year 2017 fall on Saturday, 28 January, which is today and normally we will have a reunion dinner with family, followed by playing fire crackers and Chinese New Year games.

Speaking about having a reunion dinner, Bavarian Bierhaus, a German restaurant and bars at The Curve is one the choices you can go for if you have "guai lou" (foreigner) relatives that prefer on western food other than normal Chinese cuisine.
